How to display a name

Download and install a license plate looking font. Like-http://www.fontspace.com/category/license%20plate
Open stl in OpenScad. Requires version 2015.03.
Enter a name to display. Probably, 6 character or less. Play with the spacing value.
Enter the exact font name. Notice the names can differ http://i.imgur.com/PZHqaEv.png. In Windows Control Panel > Fonts > Right click on onft > Properties contains the name you need to use in OpenScad.
Render and print!

Two-color print

To get the two color look you have to change filament to a different color mid-print at 'the magic layer'. Pause the print and switch filaments at the layer in which the lettering and bevel start to be printed. The magic layer will differ on how you slice the stl. Printing at .2mm layer height, layer 9 is where I switch from blue to yellow..

Tip 1 on switching filament- Try to pause the print during the infill of the magic layer. While switching filament you may inadvertently push the nozzle into the print and leave a blemish. It doesn't look good when a hot nozzle is pressed into a visible edge. Ask me how I know...
Tip 2 on switching filament- Be ready to adjust the flow rate when you switch filament. I had quite a difference in diameter between the two spools. Blue was 1.765mm and the yellow measured 1.715. I bumped the flow rate to 125% (max) after observing under-extrusion on the yellow layers.
