Handle for Hose Reel

UPDATE: July, 15th 2025. Several people have asked about this, and if I would be willing to print one for them. I extended the life of my printed handles by greasing the valve assembly, and later, replacing the entire value assembly from one I found on eBay.

Fast forward a couple more years, and I retired this Suncast unit. I replaced it with a hand crank Gorilla brand reel, and it operates very smoothly. I bolted it down to 4 large pavestones, and its not going anywhere while cranking. Trust me, it is easier to hand crank this manual unit than was to assist the struggling Suncast reel pull the hose in.

I will leave this project up for the diehard repair people who really want to get more life out of what they already have. But I've moved on! :)
