This is the drive gear that fits Overhead brand garage door opener models 456, 556 and 551. My garage door is model 556 and is the only one it has been tested on.

After discovering that my son had been riding the garage door, I also discovered my garage door no longer worked and needed a new drive gear. The gear I designed doesn't look exactly like the official replacement part but worked fine for me. I tried printing it in ABS but couldn't get a handle on the heat balance between making the part stick and melting the teeth of the gears. I ended up printing it in PLA and it printed perfectly. Use 100% infill because the garage door motor puts a lot of stress on the part and someone may try to ride the door.
