Summary

My friend Ricardo designed this speed bike frame and we printed it in 1:5 scale. Just a cool model to fabricate.

Instructions

The design was made in Solidworks 2013 (file included). IÂ´ve modeled the support structures for the rear wheel triangles. I believe theyÂ´re very light and efficient for this part, a lot lighter than supports from skeinforge or slic3r.

Print both sides in different runs. The build is ~172x148mm (rotate parts in table to get the best configuration).
IÂ´ve used 0.2mm layers. Each part is 10 grams and took here 50min to print in my Ecksbot.
Remove the support structures is easy but take some time and a very sharp blade.
Glue parts together and enjoy your model!
