Summary

So what if your beloved child has his birthday tomorrow and your postman is too slow for having the present in time?
This is a propeller I designed yesterday. It has to be sewn into a fabric helicopter which is now the birthday present ;-)

The helicopter

            <div><p>I added an svg as an example helicopter. Print it two times and cut out the blue line on one sheet, the red on the other (or just use your plotter) Haven't really tried this one yet but my original version got lost.</p><p>The red one is the bottom part, whereas the blue one is the side. Transfer the shapes to fabric, side part is needed twice (left and right, you might want to turn the paper around while transfering it) Leave some space when cutting it out.. else you won't be able to sew it together </p><p>now comes the difficult part: sewing. sew the upper parts of the sides together. Try to keep the stitches on the transfered shape and leave some space on the upside for mounting the rubber band propeller (i'll make some pics soon).<br>Now you need to sew the bottom part to the sides. Again, have a look at keeping the shape... </p><p>When done, turn it inside out through the mount hole. Now you need fibrefill to feed the body. </p><p>Last step is to push the propeller into the hole and sew it to the fabric...</p><p>Have fun with it</p></div>
