FPV Video Receiver Mount for the Back of a Monitor
If you use an FPV monitor and external receiver, this can give you a solid mounting platform for fitting your receiver to the back of your monitor then be able to remove it. The first part of this mount bolts to the top two holes of the the standard mounting threads included in the back of many monitors. The second part of this mount is fixed to your receiver(s) with double sided tape. Then, when you want to attach your receiver to the back of your monitor, you just have to bolt it in with the bottom two bolts. The lip on the top of the mount holds the top tight so it's very solid.
If you have two receivers, you can print a second device mount so that you can switch between the two easily.
There are a few different device mounts. There are different sizes as well as some have the slots for tying cables up in different locations. All will fit the base, you just need to find out which one fits your receiver and cabling the best.
Although I designed it for use with rig that has everything mounted on the transmitter (see http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:930215), it could also be useful for anyone with tripod setups. Keeping the receiver attached to the monitor makes field setup much easier.
Please let me know if you made one or have any ideas. I'll also put the sketchup source files online if anyone wants them.
