electric dial box
I live somewhat excluded at the end of a long, raised power line. This means that autumn thunderstorms often cuts the power, sometimes for a day or two. So I have a Lister backup generator.
To monitor the electricity I bought dials for current, voltage and frequency on ebay. I think they look nice in this box, and yes, I was inspired by Roberto from Futorama.
I also made a box for switches and dials to start/stop and monitor the engine remotely.
The generator in the picture actually belong to my brother, but it is the same type as mine.
