Summary

a Vigenère (polyalphabetic) code wheel used to simplify the
Vigenère code.
this uses an alphabet composed of 16 characters.

Instructions

to use the wheel, you must first:
A) make a 16 letter alphabet. for exemple, 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,abcdefg
B) mark each 1/16 of the wheel with a coresponding letter.
C) make a keyword out of the alphabet you created. for exemple: 1567
D) the wheel is just a simplifacation of the Vigenère chart.
in this alphabet, the Vigenère chart will look like this:

so, if your keyword is 1567, and the text you wnat to encrypt is
a351, then you write the keyword above the text 1567 like this,
a351
and now you can encrypt it.
E) after we wrote the key above the text, we go to the Vigenère chart and look at the alphabet that starts with the coresponding letter we want to encrypt, using the key (for exemple, the alphabet that we will use to encrypt the letter "a" will start with one).
now, we look at the place the letter we want to encrypt is in in the normal alphabet (in our alphabet, the letter "a" is in the10th spot).
the letter a=10, so we go to the alphabet that starts with 1,
and there look at the 10th spot.
result? a=a.
so 1567
a351
a
using this process, we can fill out the rest of the message.
