Summary

A simple adjustable X-axis belt tensioner for the makergear prusa that takes the place of the two 8mm washers for the X-axis idler pulley.

Instructions

Printed with .35mm nozzle, .27mm layer height, .35 infill. For this thing you will need one M4 15-20mm bolt. First remove stock X-axis idler pulley. Next using rotary tool or x-acto knife enlarge the hole toward your left for the X-axis as shown. Then thread M4 bolt directly into the hole in the end of the printed part (the hole is sized so that it should cut its own threads). Install as tensioner as shown, replace the X-axis pulley sans the 8mm washer directly beneath the pulley. Set desired tension and enjoy!
